I got recently Dell Inspiron Duo with a standard usb2vga (0711:0900 Magic Control Technology) adapter. Taking into account that xorg.conf is no more used [sic] by Ubuntu, where should I look for configuration files that would let me setup the adapter? Currently when I plug in an external monitor all what I get is a bunch of stripes. Normally to configure sisusbvga one would add device section and modify screen layout in xorg.conf. Is there any way to achieve the same in Ubuntu? I mean it seems that whatever automagic configuration is generated by Ubuntu it is not working, and I would like to be ably to tests different configurations manually.

Thanks,
