i have Hp G42 laptop. I cannot install driver (These package contains Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driverfor use with Broadcom's BCM4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4321-, andBCM4322-based hardware.) for wifi. But if i try it in ubuntu 10.10 cd directly using try ubuntu option, it works fine. get the following error for last few parts of the update installation in update manager.

Kindly help to solve the issue

Did you try the install drivers option available in the System tab?It works well for me?I hav a lenevo g560.Check out and reply me

Dude you can try these steps:System->Administration->Additional Drivers. You need a internet connection so connect using the LAN card.Try it out and let me know!
