Having a weird problem, here. On Ubuntu 10.10, I plug my iPhone 4 in. It is recognized, and a screen pops up saying f-stop can handle the photos, I tell it to open a nautilus window instead. Rhythmbox then comes along and automatically opens, as I had previously instructed. Rhythmbox opens, recognizes the device, displays the music -- then, 30 seconds later, the iPhone unmounts itself from the system completely.

Anybody have any clues?

Gave up trying to make Rhythmbox do the right thing. Installed iTunes on Wine and am using it that way.

I'd still like to know what was wrong with Rhythmbox, though. Do Rhythmbox and Banshee use the same tools to access iStuff?
