Hello,

I have a machine dual-booting with a Windows and an Ubuntu installation on it. I want to reinstall Ubuntu on top of the existing Ubuntu installation on this machine so that I have a fresh install of Ubuntu.

I don't mind losing all my data on my Ubuntu partition, but I need to keep all the data currently available on my Windows partition.

Please would someone show me how to do this? Much obliged!

Hi and welcome to UF

When you're installing, just choose "specify partitions manually" & install Ubuntu to the partition you have it installed on now.
