Remove mail/message icon from indicator?

Hello,

Is there a way to remove the mail/message indicator from the indicator-applet on the panel? I searched and didn't find anything.

sudo apt-get remove indicator-messages Then right click indicator applet( mail icon) and remove from panel , next right click the panel and select > add to panel > add the indicator applet . The sound icon will now return without the envelope.
