I don't like flash very much, it always very bandwidth intensive and on my internet connection that is not a good thing!

HTML5 can also be a wrapper to play FLVs and SWFs, even if you don't have flash plugin.

Like: http://smokescreen.us/demos/sb45demo.html (Firefox 4 will play it same speed, if not accidentally faster than the original speed. Buttons and easter eggs all work.)
