Hi,

My IBM T60 has one core missing from dual core processor.
It is operating merely a single core.

This happens since Karmic Koala.
When i update to Ubuntu 10.10, with a hope that it will detect the missing one back.
Unfortunately, it's still missing.

My symptom is the same as this issue.
"[Fixed!] Only 1 CPU core on Dualcore" (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1144905)

How can i change the boot entry as mention in the thread, #3 (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=7190768&postcount=3)?

Thanks,

I have actually had this happen to me at odd times. I am unsure why it does so. In any case I am glad you resolved the issue.
