Hi all, have been running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS as host with Windows 7 as guest for a few months with no problem. Kernel is 2.6.32.21 generic. I have Dell XPS M1530 500GB Hard drive. I was checking a .jpg file in an e-mail and suddenly Firefox closed. System crashed and when I rebooted I couldnot move beyond the screen message : run-init: /sbin/init Accessing a corrupted shared library [1.xxxsxx] Kernel panic--not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

I have the liveCD.

Is this a hard drive problem, a Lucid problem, or a Virtualbox problem? What can I do?
