Hi Team,

I wanted to install Ubunutu on my laptop and it currently has windows vista installed on it and installed using latest Wubi. I selected Ubuntu from dropdown menu after the system restarted. But when the sytem shows the username page to login the KEYBOARD and MOUSE are not responding.

I am using Lenovo Y series laptop and using the inbuilt keyboard/touchpad.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

I've got the same problem.
It started when I upgraded from Ubuntu 10.10 to the next version.
On windows my keyboard and touchpad work ok.
Also when I connect USB mouse and keyboard to the new Ubuntu it is working well, but with built-in keyboard and touchpad it is not responding. I use Lenovo Ideapad Y550.
Please help
