Hello,

I'm new to Linux and just want to test it out. I've been trying to create a Live Boot USB for a while but gave up on it. Now that I'm running from Live CD, it freezes on the Red like Ubuntu screen with the White dots underneath like its loading something. After a while it stops turning from white to red and red to white (the dots) and just hangs.

Mac Info:
MacBook 1,1
Intel Core Duo 2Ghz
1GB Memory

Ubuntu version 10.10 (maverick meercat?)

If I need to list anything else please say, thanks.

Solution: Went back to the first disk I wrote and tried one last time.(;

After waiting about 30 minutes I get this error :

(initramfs) mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on //filesystem.squaushfs failed: Input/output error cannot mount /dev/loop0 (/cdrom/casper/filesystem.squashfs) on //filesystem.squashfs

udevd[102]: worker [191] unexpectedly returned with status 0x100

udved: worker 191 failed while handling '/devices/virtual/block/loop0

Any ideas?

Sorry for image size and quality but thats what it hangs on and after a while it goes to the error stated above.

No solution, no details, but solved. That helps.
