My gnome menu bars suddenly froze for no reason. On the top, the system menu is open, but I can't click on anything. I tried Alt+F2, but I can't type anything in the popup or even close out of it. The bottom bar is also frozen, so I can't even switch between programs. The only thing that is working is nautilus, which I used to open Chrome. So without being able to run an application and since I don't know how to open a terminal with nautilus, I'm stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Figured it out! Located the terminal app in /usr/bin/gnome-terminal. ran xkill and clicked on the gnome bars. It killed it and they rebooted!
