Java Folder Problem

Hello everybody,

When I was trying to install the latest Java and I somehow managed to create a folder that is locked and I have no idea how to delete the folder. How would I go about deleting it please?

Also, do you have a link to a tutorial on how to install Java properly? Because I just cant do it: it keeps saying "Permission Denied" etc etc.

To install java, open software center and search for "ubuntu-restricted-extras" click to install & you're done.

Sorry, can't tell you how to get rid of that folder.
