By accident I took the time and date off the top right corner of my screen, How do I lock it back on to my panel? I can't even find it anywhere, I'm VERY NEW to ubuntu.

right click the panel >> add to panel >> clock
and then right click the clock applet >> 'move' >> drag it to the right
