Hi there,

I've looking for some application to organize (by using tags or something similar) and annotate mainly PDFs (although I've some ghostscript files too).
I've found the following web pages, but they seem to be outdated ... :-(

If I could add bibtex information to the tags I think it could be used by bibtex as a references manager (somewhere they call it library of research too), but maybe it is too much to ask ... :-)

Do you know of any application of this kind? Which one do you use?

Thanks.

Victor.

My favorite is Xournal! I even wrote a li'l post about it on Linux.com (here (http://www.linux.com/community/blogs/edit-pdfs-the-easy-way-with-xournal.html)). It's simple, fast, effective, and in the Ubuntu repos!

I was going to suggest Mendeley as well. Gorgeous app, very complete, very fast, everything you need to keep an organized, searchable, collaboration-friendly library, take notes, etc. I really wish I'd had it while I was in school.
