I want to buy this mouse: http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=643

I'd like some reviews on it first. What do you think of it? Do you think it's compatible with other OSes should I decide to use it on another computer?

Thanks!

I've heard with it being flat that it is uncomfortable, but I wouldnt know. Also since it is Micro USB and Plug and Play it will definitely work on anything you plug it into

That thing looks like it'd break my hand. :/ I'll kindly stick with my Microsoft ergonomic mouse. (http://www.mousearena.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/wireless-ergonomic-mouse-2.jpg)

or better a Logitech Perfomance MX mouse (http://www.logitech.com/mice-pointers/mice/devices/5845)
and the Anywhere Mouse MX (http://www.logitech.com/mice-pointers/mice/devices/5846) for the netbook/notebook

;)

Which allows you to throw it further.

That first one still requires my wrist to be bent. The second link doesn't work. :(

They are both shaped like your hand but on the Logitech one, you palm still goes flat on top of it. The MS one places your hand at a bit more of an angle which is much more natural. Here's an image explaining it. (http://www.everythingusb.com/images/list/msnaturallaser6000instructi.jpg)

After using this mouse for a while, I really feel the difference.

I'm quite fond of my Logitech MX518.

Is the scroll wheel on the right side so that right-handed people get to feel left out for once?
