Apt-Cache Search Related Problem

Hi,

I have been exploring cfengine 3 in the Linux environment.
On my laptop I have ubuntu 10.
On my Desktop I have ubuntu 9.

When I installed cfengine on ubunt10, things got done pretty easily and fast. sudo apt-get install cfengine3.

But on my ubuntu9, I simply can not seem to find cfengine3. All I find is cfengine2.

1. How come I can not find cfengine3 on ubuntu9, but can on ubuntu10?
2. And how do I solve this problem?

Updating to ubuntu10 is out of the question. I am sure there is a simpler way to do it.

I'm not familiar with that program, but it was probably not out when Ubuntu 9 came out, and now that Ubuntu 9 is no longer supported, you may have a hard time with that, unless you can go to the site and download it.

edit: sorry, after looking further, I see that you probably knew that. :)
