Hello Ubuntu Guru's,

Can someone please help me figure out what kind of touchscreen I have? I've installed Xubuntu 10.10 and the touchscreen axis's are reversed. I've found a few threads with solutions to fix such issues, but they all appear to be vendor specific (like eVO or xGalaxy, etc.). I know the touchscreen works because when I initially tested the netbook the touchscreen was working correctly, but it was loaded with XP then. The only drivers I received with the netbook were just generic XP drivers on a burned CD.

The netbook is an eeepc 701 4G. It has 4gb HD and 2gb RAM. Since the model normally doesn't ship with a touchscreen, I assume it must have been added in later. The person I got the netbook from on eBay stated it was a gift and they never used it. I tend to believe that since it looks brand new without so much as a scratch.

I've also tried Kubuntu, ubuntu netbook, and slax. I've encounter the same problem with the touchscreen in all of these distro's too.

I'd be grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance,
