Well, because regular Skype with all the setup stuff decided to stop working for no reason, which in my case the log in window wouldn't appear anymore no matter what I did.
I tried changing the command to "skype" and "skype-video" and neither worked when I clicked on the icon after setting everything up for the "skype-video" command. It could've been because of an upgrade, but nothing I can do about that now. All I have is "Static Skype" installed and I can't do Skype Video Calls anymore. I can still here, but they can't see me, I can't see them, and Skype no longer recognizes my web cam.
What do I do now? I'm stuck and need help. =(
