Gentlemen/Ladies;
I checked this forum and could not exactly find what I am looking for.
The Ubuntu Update Manager is not finding packages for update. I go through the list and uncheck some of them and still get an error. Here's one for the timezone package:
W: Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/t/tzdata/tzdata_2011d-0ubuntu0.10.04_all.deb
I also went to Ubuntu Software tab to check for a better server and when I changed to the suggested one, I still get errors updating. I copied the url, pasted it into Firefox and backed up to the ../pool/main and saw files listed. Clicking further through the file paths just for chuckles yielded no better results.
This has happened for about 3 weeks now and it was working perfectly before this.
Anybody have any experience with this problem and why it is now happening?
