Does your laptop have a poor keyboard?

If I press down too hard on the keyboard while typing, sometimes the cursor just jumps all of a sudden to a position in the text that was already typed. This is very annoying and happens once ever few minutes. Have you ever encountered this problem?

It used to happen all the time, so I set a keyboard shortcut to disable the touchpad while I am typing large amounts of text.

But I don't touch the touchpad while typing.

Well, disabling the touch-pad seems to work, I have a small keyboard, and I assume that it is my thumbs hitting the touch-pad while I type.
