I am fully updated but there are no updates or popups asking for upgrade

What am I doing wrong? I have no updates left to install. Can I do it from the terminal?

I am running 10.10 desktop (but was installed as a Netbook (usb) edition)

Cheers

Faz,

The 11.04 version is not complete yet. It is still going through testing and debugging, so it has not been released.

Here is the schedule:

2011/03/31 Beta 1 <- This is what the tester are running right now
2011/04/14 Beta 2 & Final Freeze
2011/04/28 Ubuntu 11.04

Im talking about the Beta, it says I need to make sure the update manager says "normal releases", which I did, but it doesn't appear

There is a setting somewhere in the update manager will let you choose to update to Beta releases, but 11.04 isn't in beta yet.

Facebook says otherwise?

Ubuntu (http://www.facebook.com/ubuntulinux) Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal Beta is out! Get it from http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/natty/beta and be sure to report bugs!

Try Alt + F2 and type "update-manager -d" without the quotes and see if you now get the upgrade.

Good Luck

I wouldn't rush it. I'm going to wait at least two weeks after the final release of 11.04 comes out, so the majority of the major bugs get ironed out.

Don't do an online upgrade. If you want to test 11.04, burn a CD and try a live boot first.

Remember as stated in the quote from Facebook: This is about reporting bugs.

It was not my intention to scare you away from testing - please do! Just don't overwrite the working 10.10 installation.
