I installed Natty Narwhal yesterday and everything was fine. Today, however, I installed some updates. I tried restarting my computer but it never gets to the desktop. It keeps crashing and looping back, if that makes sense. I can't start in fail-safe graphics mode either. Any ideas?

that happens to me too. But when I switch off the mouse pad I am able to login and navgate entirely using key board. I guess the problem has something to do with the mouse controls. Try switching off your mouse pad or disconnect your mouse and browse with key board and file a bug report and hope for the next update to take care.

There is a fix for this problem. Should be fixed with updates but if you wish to do it now see this http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10625321&postcount=3

Thanks for pointing that out; it would have taken me a while to figure out that that was the problem.

It wasn't fixed with updates, at least not yet. But that package under your link fixed it. Thanks! I love this forum.
