Hi all,
I have an old toshiba portege 2000, no boot from usb option, no cd drive and a 1.8 inch IDE HDD, I currently have xp installed but really want ubuntu netbook remix instead. I have a usb caddy for the 1.8 hdd, is there a way i can plug this into another pc and install ubuntu, then remove from the caddy and put it back in the toshiba??
