Hello,

At a store I saw a $75 HappyLight 6000.

Amazon's description page lists its features:

Up to 6,000 LUX of Natural Spectrum daylight lifts spirits, sharpens concentration and improves energy levels
Helps address the effects of seasonal change, Winter Blues, shift work and jet lag
Emulates natural daylight to improve mood and overall sense of well-being
Sleek space-saving design is ideal for home office or dorm room
Energy efficient bulb uses only 36 Watts to produce 300 Watts of Natural Spectrum light

Can a regular bulb give "natural spectrum daylight?

No, but a daylight or full spectrum bulb can. You can get them from lighting specialists. Lux is just the measure of the intensity of the light, it says nothing about the colour. Colour is rated by the "colour temperature" of the light.

Spend more time outside.

Full spectrum bulbs are helpful if you are a graphic artist. Otherwise, any bulb will do.

This. I use them for painting. However...

Spend more time outside.

Some countries at high northern latitudes do have brutally short days in winter, so this isn't always an option.

You can buy bulbs/tubes that provide natural daylight.

As far as I know metal halides provide the best natural light output (marine aquirist use them) but they use a lot of power and generate a lot of heat. You do however have other options.
