Hey! I've been using Ubuntu Desktop, and then I got an MSI netbook running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. After messing around with Windows, I decided to try dualbooting Widows and Ubuntu. Using a flashdrive for all of this, I can "Try Ubuntu" but when I go through the Install process and chose to put Ubuntu on the partition I want and hit Install, I get the message "The root file system is not defined. Please go... (I forgot what else it said). Is there anything I can do to solve this?

Thanks!

Yes, Back up, click the dropdown box and select "/" for your root partition.
This "/" symbol (without the quotes) means "root"
Be sure to put it on the partition you're installing Ubuntu on.
