In USB STICK BOOTABLE may have windows data in? it will create partitions in stick in this case data already exist in stick or...?

May a USB STICK BOOTABLE be same time, a PortableApps usb stick for windows or U3 usb stick for windows ?

When go to create a usb stick ubuntu, it will create partitions in stick in this case data already exist in stick or...?
