when I try to boot up off a burn cd, I never get asked language or anything it starts loading and has a long list of dos commands then it freezes on the list of dos command on k something.

Have you cheked the md5sum of the downloaded iso file?

If that checks out, you should check the cd for errors. On booting from the cd if you get to the first purple screen press any key. Then choose language. On the next screen select the "check for errors" option.
If your cd doesn't get to the first purple screen there is something wrong with the iso file or the burn to disc.

that checks out. and the cd is downloaded right I burned 2 times just to make sure and nothin seems to be wrong there was no errors. i never get to purple screen.

What program did you use to burn the image to disc please? Also it is often better to burn the image at the slowest speed possible, to avoid errors.
