I downloaded the Wubi installer, wanted to install ubuntu netbook 10.10, but it takes far too long to download the .iso.torrent file from the Wubi, so I thought I'd download the .iso seperately from a faster server and then try to make the Wubi use my downloaded .iso as the installer.

Is that possible?

I want to install using the Wubi, dont have a CD drive or USB and I had sucess in the past with installling Ubunut netbook 10.10 from Wubi.

I've downloaded the .iso file now, about 700 mb. Do you know what to do next to make it work with Wubi so it recognizes it and doesnt start downloading the .iso.torrent file?

Place the downloaded ISO in the same folder as wubi.exe and run it from there. It will use it.

Please refer to the Wubi guide (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide) for more information.
