I have made the switch to UBUNTU 10.10 after my XP machine did a blue screen of death and would not load. I have installed ubuntu on my desktop and got it installed and configured. All looks good except this. I have a ch35x_80_86 dual serial card, I need to install in desktop. I did a google search and found this link http://lare-india.blogspot.com/2010/02/getting-serial-port-to-work-under.html ( sorry if live links are not allowed) I tried to follow what was in the document. I can not get it to work. Anybody work with those cards that can assist?
