Purchasing new laptop, need all users with their data (firefox cookies etc)on new one

So im purchasing new laptop, and need to transfer all the users and their data such a firefox cookies and so on to the new one. Im on Ubuntu 10.10

How can i do that?

press ctrl+H in the user's home folder and copy over all the 'dot folders' (or the specific one you want)

So i need to create all users on the new laptops manualy, and then copy those .dot folders to new laptop that users home directory? Im i right?
