View Full Version : [ubuntu] Mac 4 Lin - Can't get Panels to look right

Usually it all goes okay, but this time the procedure failed and i can't get it to look okay. I tried following the steps again, but the Panel never sets the right backgrounds. If only it would be possible to manually set the backgrounds of all the individual stuff that appear on the Panel (is it?), that would solve the problem. But this was, i could set the background to the Panel itself, but the backgrounds of the Main menu and the Notification area (etc) are a simple grey color (and those two are different even).

What to do to address specifically the Panel problem?

I know, the panels are pretty much messed up with Mac4Lin, because the author didn't take care of them at all, they are simply not specified at all.

You could grab a copy of my theme, which is based on Mac4Lin, and try to apply its panel matches to Mac4Lin, or simply stick with mine ;):
