Hey whatsup...I am trying to install map updates for my Garmin GPS automotive maps. The page I go to says I need to install a plugin...I have all the common plugins installed and I don't know what to do from here. I also installed the garmin plugin with wine but website doesn't recognize that I have it installed.

Here is a link to the page causing me problems with the uninstalled plugin...

https://my.garmin.com/maps/updates.htm?deviceType=other

Thanks dudes

I just went to that web page, and it told me my that my browser was incompatible (I'm using Firefox 3.6). I checked their requirements page, and they claim to support FF 1.5+. Have you sent a message to Garmin Tech Support?

Just FYI, I've never been able to get it to work with Wine. Eventually you will probably get a message saying you need to install the latest version of Windows .NET. That's the furtherest I've ever gotten. As a note, Garmin does not support Linux. Here's what I had to do, used VirtualBox and Windows XP SP3. It worked flawlessly. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1712447&highlight=garmin+maps+updates
