weird screen on installation

so im trying to install ubuntu 10.10 on my HP laptop, its 64bit with an amd processor. anyways the screen is all convoluted and strange looking. idk if this can be fixed after installation with the proper driver or something. its just weird. has anyone had this happen to them? http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5188/5551923783_19368baff5_b.jpg

What graphics card do you have?

If you're not sure. Run the following command in a terminal & post the output between "code" tags, by highlighting it & using the "#" symbol in the toolbar.

lspci

Also, you can edit your first post & attach that pic using the paper clip in the toolbar. That way it won't take up so much room and be akward once it's been seen by anyone trying to help.
