It says here (http://www.ubuntu.com/partners/eucalyptus), it is a private and hybrid cloud. (source: Ubuntu partners)

Hardcore. I personally am sort of old school with my rsync and VPN and NFS, and don't need any of what cloud computing can offer, but if you have ambitions to set up remote storage and virtual machines and whatnot on your home network then my hat's off to you. You may even develop career skills setting up and administering cloud infrastructure.

I will surely go into some good work like trying for some security in storage networks....

my initial phase of work is to deploy a cloud and have a webportal that can be accessed by any client....

it should be able to accept as many request it gets...... later i will think of some good area to jump on.

but i didnt get eucalyptus for ubuntu desktop, i was facing some problems in post configuration steps of UEC. i could not upadte taht one. can you help me in that?
