I have two computers running 10.10. Both are set up to check for updates on a daily basis. I noticed the one was not indicating there were updates available while the other was doing it on a regular basis. So I opened the update manager and had it check for updates but after running through its normal check, it says there are no updates available at this time. I know that is not the case because my other computer is pulling the updates down. So there is a communication problem somewhere.
I also just finished a different update problem on this same computer last week through this forum. The link is http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1708106. Maybe that messed something up.
