View Full Version : [ubuntu] I Need Help With Port Forwarding?...

March 20th, 2011, 10:29 PM
Hi all. I've gotten so far as to set up my new router and connect all of the other computers on my network, however the download rate for my machine is hovering around 5 kbps (or some ridiculously low number like that). I just did a fresh install of Lucid and everything else is running very smoothly. I have been awake for three days working on this and am so close I can taste it. I could finish this myself, but I would like someone who is well skilled in networking to check what I have and possibly put an end to this dilemma for me because I just want sleep! Anyway, here is my current router settings, ifconfig, route -n, and iwlist.
So to summarize I just need to determine what is holding up my download rate. I'm sure it's something simple, but ultimately I'm still slightly noobish and don't Know for sure:-k. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help:-]
