Hello All,
So recently I bought a new
D-Link DIR-655 v2 Gigabit Wireless N Router
New DSL Modem
(2) Cat6 cables
Intel Gigabit NIC
So basically I have a brand new everything for my network. I did this because I have my data drives on my Ubuntu 10.10 machine. So I have a SAMBA server set up on the machine right now and have my drives mapped on my Windows 7 machine. I figured out from reading that you will not get gigabit speeds with using a SAMBA server to transfer files. So I know there are ways to get the full or close to it speed. What are they? And if possible, can I map my drives like I did using SAMBA?
Thank You in Advance
