Ubuntu install 10.10 32-bit burnt to disk.

A friend of mine (no local to where I live so all being done over phone!) has a Intel White Imac and had problems with it and no access to the recovery disk....I suggested Ubuntu as my colleagues use it and I installed it to my old home computer for my daughter....

I downloaded the install and burnt it to disk and posted it to him..

The install run but it doesn't seem to have picked up the wireless card..

If he right clicks on the wireless icon the option to enable wireless is not listed.
If he left clicks on the wireless icon it does not show any available wireless networks.

I work in software support/testing and know a little tiny bit about computers but am not a techie so any help and advice you can give me in a 'Janet & John' style would be much appreciated and gratefully received!

Thanks for reading

Chris
