I've had a lot of trouble getting the Medibunto repository installed under a fully updated Kubuntu 10.10. I keep getting messages from Synaptic about a missing public key. By following the advice in one of the many posts on this subject and using the command line
sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring I actually managed to install the medibuntu-keyring (version 2008.04.20) package. But if I attempt to reinstall that package, I get a message to the effect that it isn't authenticated.
Why are there such problems with the key to the Medibuntu repository? And how can I get the Medibuntu repository properly installed?
