tried loading from a CD and a USB stick ,from win 7 and XP ,tried sata and ide drives standalone with no other systems to stop it and no luck !
followed the instructions from ubuntu website .
every time it sees no boot up system and wants a boot disk .
it loads on ok sometimes but wont stick on the hard drive to boot later when the PC is rebooted !
or it wont even load the system from CD or the USB stickat all .
the swiches are set in the BIOS to suit a correct bootup and several mobos have been tried with no luck !
i will have to wait for a later version as i have spent long enough on this .
