Hi all,
I'm looking for a bit of help here, but please bear with me, as I'm fairly new to Ubuntu. I recently added a separate graphics card as opposed to the onboard Intel one I used to use. After the "upgrade," Windows booted up fine, yet when I tried to boot Ubuntu, it would hang at the black screen where it loads all the drivers. I've tried to boot into Recovery Mode for Ubuntu, however it doesn't seem to load the necessary things, and ends up freezing.

My desktop is setup so that I'm running off 2 hard disks; 1 for Windows XP, and the other for Ubuntu 10.10. I've installed the Ubuntu Studio packages over my existing installation, although it looked a little strange to me compared to others' screenshots. The GRUB menu shows, but the Ubuntu loading screen doesn't.

So in short, can anyone help me boot into Ubuntu so I can start using it again? Or is a complete reinstall necessary?
