hello, I have a laptop w/ a recently broken screen that I wanted to turn into a file server; it is currently running ubuntu desktop and I was wondering if there was anyway to install a server edition(I don't care the distro) over LAN? Also, I want the laptop to stay on with the lid closed, not sure how to do that at all.
