I performed a clean installation of Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat 64 bit on my ASUS N61JV-X2 notebook PC. I chose the standard default configuration.

How can I upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04 when it is released?

How can I upgrade to future stable releases when they are released?

Thank you.

You can upgrade via net or with alternate CD.

Do I use the Update Manager to perform an upgrade to the next stable release?

Or, is there a command that I can enter in BASH that will perform the same type of upgrade?

Please advise with more detailed answers. Thank you.

Here is the official community doc page on upgrading:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UpgradeNotes

There are links explaining the current upgrades available and how to accomplish them.

Once Natty (11.04) is released next month there will be an entry on how to upgrade to is as well, and there will probably be a sticky on the forum when it is released.
