I need help configuring grub! After I installed Ubuntu I get th following error when trying to load Win Xp. "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: <windows root>\system32\hal.dll. Please re-install a copy of the above file."
I made the mistake of not installing windows on the first partition. When creating/deleting partitions with windows cd I did not want to delete my data partition so when I deleted my other partitions the partitioner re-named my data partition as C and I did not catch this until after installing windows. I cannot figure out how to correctly map/swap the partitions if somebody could give me some advice?
