Has anyone ever used this? I just stumbled upon it, I'm trying to learn how to use it for translating a random list of words I need for work.

hmm it looks like its actually harder to figure out than I thought, and what I have to do is very simple indeed...

All of the guides online seem to be for a more complicated use of the program, I only require a very basic use of it. My coworker asked if I could send him a poedit file with a list of translations because it would make his life easier, tis the only reason I'm trying to learn it.

Poedit is not a translator. It's a tool to work with Gettext catalogs.

ah, but I never said it was a translator, just a translations editor. I know it's a tool to work with gettext catalogs, but it is practical for storing translations. I mean, the user has to input all of the original words and their translations, it is just the way the program organizes the information that is particularly useful (at least to me).

EDIT: nvm, figured it out
