Hello,

can you refer me books and websites from where i can learn to setup/configure all the important servers like DNS/DHCP/SAMBA/SQUID/WEBSERVER/LAMP/NAGIOS etc for a big organisation with all the required security configured.

I have configured all these servers on my local PC, but with minimal required settings.

I want to learn how to make all important server settings/configurations for a proffesional environment.

Thanks

Sam

You can check on scribd.com for quick tutorials. But my best recommendation is always reading the online reference for each software. They provides an excellent start point for beginners and they usually explain advanced topics, also.

If you're needing to accomplish a very specific task, you could describe it here.

There is no "be all, end all" guide to security. If you want to deploy something for an enterprise or business, you are going to have to learn all you can about it.

I would suggest starting by seeing which service you want to run and how to secure it.

you could give the following a try:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/

don't know this one: http://www.onlinecomputerbooks.com/free-linux-books.php

books that really cover just that what you need are rather hard to find is my experience.
http://www.linuxbooks.org/
http://www.linux.com/directory/Books

my advise would be to check them out at a bookstore (just bought an expensive book online myself, not what i needed... maybe can use it as a paperweight ;) )
