Hello everyone,
Since my fresh ubuntu install I felt excited to reconfigure my home networking system. Basically I ran ethernet cables directly from my router under my house to two rooms (one in the middle of the house, and one at the opposite end from where the router is). I want to expand my wifi network so I get strong signal all over the house. I have a netgear repeater and an extra netgear router (can be used as a repeater) that I want to hook up to these two ethernet cables. Once I plug them in, how should I configure the settings on each? Basically, how can I just use them to strengthen my wifi signal instead of having three different network names. I had heard it is better to separate them, is this true? All help is greatly appreciated!
