Software Sources menu is coming

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 10.04.
I am unable to find Software sources menu in System -> Administrator menu.
I am able to open it through Synaptic package manager -> settings -> repositories menu and also from Ubuntu Software Center -> Edit -> Software sources.
I have also tried to enable it from System -> preferences -> main menu -> administration but the chek mark just disappear after some seconds.
I do not understand what is the problem??????????

Right click the menu then edit go to admin and tick it on.

Is that not the same operation? Just wondering, looks like the same destination (but you did teach me a new way to get there, thanks)
