Everytime i boot up, now, after i upgraded my ubuntu up to the last versions, i always read messages on the display mentioning about each and every versions i have already used. Now, i think i already have around 10 versions and it's up and counting every time i upgraded. With an up or down arrow, i can pick up which version i want to use. How do you delete all the messages, so i can only use the last version. Of course, i will use the last version . . . I don't think there's any use of the possibility to choose . . . Please help me, or one day my display will be full of version choices . . . many thanks !

Are you referring to the list of kernels during boot ?

Here is a well written thread which explains how to get rid of the ones you no longer want.
