Ubuntu freezes some time when the computer gets hot. I have ubuntu 10.04 installed on a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC and i would like to know how that works out.

Any OS is likely to freeze if your hardware gets too hot.

Install lmsensors package & add temp applets to your panel & keep a check on your temperatures. Check you cpu specs to see if it is getting near the max temp.

Use an air duster aerosol to blow through the air vents.
Make sure it has good ventilation.
